I haven’t posted much, since the Christmas holidays just kept getting in the way–with one dinner after another. Plus, I celebrated my 27th birthday in December (wow I’m in my late twenties). Fashion-wise, what particularly stood out was the Christmas party I celebrated with my former officemates. The theme was Miss World and although I wasn’t that creative with my outfit, I managed to take some shots of the cute, international-themed outfits that were worn. Check it out!
From left: Corrine, in a pretty printed one-shoulder dress and me (aka Lady Glance-a-lot) at my 27th birthday. One of my friends remarked that I was dressed up like the Skipper barbie doll. I guess the idea was to look like a teenager and a doll at the same time.
At a reunion (with my fiancee) I thought, what's a good alternative to (too obvious) Christmas red frock? A bottle green dress.
Contestant No.1: Africa! In a colorful printed sheath, turban, giant hoop earring and bronze makeup, this makes for a chic costume.
Contestant 2: Korea! I love how this long-sleeved tent dress combines a shock of bright pink and aqua with a hint of print.
Contestant No. 4: Korean again? The Asian-inspired print makes this top great for any other day, outside of a beauty contest themed-party.
Drinks get dressed up for the holidays. Adbsolut Vodka dons a studded leather bodysuit for a night out.
